Qualifications:
Certificate IV in Disability
Diploma in Community Services
I have also completed training in human rights and safeguarding, co-occurring AOD and mental health conditions, family violence, and personality disorders and complex trauma.
Experience:
I have been working in the disability sector for almost 4 years and have been working as part of the My Right 2 Voice team for almost a year.
Specialisation:
I have a particular interest in supporting individuals who are facing mental health or substance use challenges as well as those who are experiencing housing exclusion or homelessness. I also have a passion for supporting individuals who have involvement with the Child Protection and Family service system.
I feel it’s incredibly important to recognise how barriers in different aspects of life intersect and reinforce each other, and how addressing one challenge can create a ripple effect, leading to meaningful change in other areas. I feel strongly that complex situations require compassion, acknowledging everyone’s lived experience and uniqueness.
I use a strength-based and solution-focused approach to support individuals to direct their own lives, always aiming to offer a supportive, and safe space where individuals feel heard and valued.

"I work as a support coordinator because I am dedicated to helping individuals reach their full potential and live fulfilling lives. Every person has their own set of needs and aspirations, and it's incredibly rewarding to guide them through the various systems and services available to support them. Being an advocate, listening to their experiences, and working towards the best possible outcomes is what makes this role so meaningful. It's about creating tangible, positive change in people's lives and supporting them through each step of their journey."
